Shipping Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made directly from Wild Horizon Fine Art LLC through this Site or directly from the studio. Artwork purchased through a gallery, exhibition organizer, auction, or other third party is subject to that seller’s shipping terms unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

1. Local Pickup

Local pickup from the Wild Horizon Fine Art studio in Southwest Harbor, Maine pr Marin, CA may be arranged by appointment. Pickup can reduce shipping costs and allows the buyer to inspect the artwork in person. Contact us before arriving to arrange a pickup time.

Email: camille@wildhorizonfineart.com

2. U.S. Shipping

For in-stock artwork purchased directly from us, we generally expect to place the order with the carrier within 5–8 business days after cleared payment, unless a different shipment time is stated on the product page, at checkout, or in a written order confirmation. This is a processing/dispatch estimate, not a guaranteed carrier transit time.

We generally use UPS, FedEx, or another carrier appropriate for the artwork, destination, and package size. You will receive tracking information when available. High-value or oversized shipments may require a signature or special handling.

3. Shipping Addresses

Please provide a complete, accurate delivery address, including apartment, unit, building, or other required delivery details. Some artwork shipments cannot be delivered to a P.O. box. If a carrier returns a shipment because the address supplied by the buyer was incomplete, inaccurate, or undeliverable, the buyer may be responsible for reasonable return and re-shipping costs to the extent permitted by law. Any restocking fee will be charged only if the Return & Refund Policy applies and the fee was disclosed before purchase.

4. Shipping Charges and Expedited Shipping

Shipping charges are shown at checkout or quoted before the order is finalized when a separate quote is required. Expedited shipping may be available for an additional charge. Expedited carrier transit time begins after the artwork has been prepared and released to the carrier and does not eliminate processing, packing, or custom-crating time.

5. Packaging and Insurance

Original artwork is packed using materials selected for fine-art shipment and is insured for transit when appropriate. Please retain all packaging until you have inspected the artwork and are satisfied that it arrived safely. Packaging may be required for a carrier claim or authorized return.

6. Delivery Estimates and Delays

Carrier delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree in writing to a guaranteed service. Weather, carrier disruptions, remote-area service, peak-season volume, customs, and circumstances outside our reasonable control can affect delivery time.

If we learn that we cannot ship within the time we promised, we will notify you and provide any delay, cancellation, and refund options required by applicable law. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we may cancel it and promptly refund the amount required by law.

7. Inspecting the Shipment; Loss or Damage

Please inspect the package and artwork promptly after delivery. If the package or artwork appears lost, damaged, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably practical, preferably within 48 hours, and keep the artwork and all original packaging. Prompt notice allows us to preserve evidence and pursue a carrier or insurance claim; it does not eliminate any non-waivable right you may have under applicable law.

We may ask for clear photographs of the outer package, shipping label, packing materials, and the front, back, sides, frame, or other affected portions of the artwork. Do not discard damaged packaging until we tell you it is no longer needed.

For remedies and return instructions, see the Return & Refund Policy.

8. International Shipping

International shipping is available only to selected destinations and must be confirmed before purchase. Contact us for availability and a shipping quote. The buyer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage charges, and similar destination-country charges unless applicable law or the written order terms require otherwise. Customs processing may delay delivery.

Mandatory consumer rights in the buyer’s jurisdiction may apply notwithstanding this Policy. If you are ordering from outside the United States, contact us before purchase so that delivery restrictions, costs, and applicable terms can be confirmed.
