Morning walks begin the studio process: watching light shift through trees, listening, and absorbing the weather before returning to paint. These semi-abstract mixed-media landscapes hold those encounters in layered color and softened horizons. Scraping, veiling, and revision allow remembered terrain to emerge and recede, giving atmosphere as much weight as the land itself.
