  • Account or member information if you create an account or use members-only Site features.

  • Information you choose to provide through contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, reviews, inquiries, commission discussions, workshop inquiries, or other communications.

  • Device and usage information that may be collected automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and interactions with the Site.

  • Cookie and preference information, including consent choices and preferences concerning functional, analytics, or marketing technologies where those technologies are used.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you provide it to us; automatically when you use the Site; and from service providers that help us operate the Site, process transactions, deliver orders, prevent fraud, or provide analytics and communications services.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our business.

  • To process and fulfill purchases, arrange pickup or shipping, issue invoices or gift cards, and provide order-related communications.

  • To respond to inquiries, commission requests, studio-visit requests, workshop questions, and customer-service needs.

  • To administer accounts, forms, subscriptions, and other Site features you choose to use.

  • To send marketing or newsletter communications when permitted by law and in accordance with your preferences. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.

  • To measure Site performance, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve content and user experience.

  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.

  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:

  • Wix.com and related Wix services that provide our website platform, hosting, online store, forms, member features, and related Site functionality.

  • Payment processors and financial-service providers used to complete purchases, invoices, payment links, refunds, and fraud screening.

  • Shipping carriers, insurers, fulfillment or packaging providers, and other service providers needed to deliver or return artwork.

  • Email, analytics, security, professional, technical, or other vendors that provide services to us, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

  • Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, and attorneys when reasonably necessary.

  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of our business.

  • A successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

Wild Horizon Fine Art does not receive money in exchange for your personal information. Certain privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising more broadly than an exchange for money; where an applicable law gives you a right to opt out of such activity, we will provide and honor that right as required.

5. Wix and Other Service Providers

Our Site is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Personal information may be processed or stored through Wix services and infrastructure. Wix maintains its own privacy practices. You can review the Wix Privacy Policy. Other third-party services used through or alongside the Site may have their own privacy policies and may process information independently of us.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies. Essential technologies support functions such as security, checkout, preferences, and member features. Depending on our current configuration and your consent choices, functional, analytics, or marketing technologies may also be used. Where required, non-essential technologies are used only after the required consent or other lawful basis has been obtained.

For more information and ways to manage your choices, see our Cookie Policy. If the Cookie Policy page has not yet been published, use the cookie settings or privacy controls presented on the Site.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to our processing, you may have rights to request access to personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain data portability, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain marketing or data uses. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.

To submit a privacy request, email camille@wildhorizonfineart.com or use our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. California Privacy Transparency

California law may require online services that collect personally identifiable information from California residents to disclose their privacy practices. The categories of information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, the categories of parties to whom we disclose it, and your choices are described in this Policy. We do not currently respond to every browser “Do Not Track” signal because there is no universal technical standard for those signals. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal and the Site is configured to receive it, we will honor that signal as required by law.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) applies only when statutory applicability thresholds or other covered-business criteria are met. Nothing in this Policy is intended to represent that Wild Horizon Fine Art is a CCPA-covered business when those criteria are not met. If the CCPA or another state privacy law applies to a particular request, we will provide the rights and notices required by that law.

9. International Visitors

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction’s data-protection law applies, we process personal information on one or more lawful bases, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, and consent where required. Applicable law may also provide a right to complain to a data-protection authority.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to complete transactions, maintain appropriate business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the purpose for which it is used.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No website, internet transmission, payment system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

13. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Site may link to or embed content from third-party websites or services. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy notices before providing personal information to them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, Site features, or legal requirements. The effective date above shows when this version was last updated. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when required, additional notice will be provided.
