Yes. If you have a particular space, size, palette, or idea in mind, I’m happy to discuss creating a custom painting. We’ll talk through your vision and determine whether the project is a good fit.

What materials do you use?

I work primarily in mixed media, including acrylic, ink, oil and cold wax, collage, and hand-painted upcycled papers. I also use unconventional mark-making tools and occasionally incorporate natural or found materials inspired by the landscape, such as leaves, sticks, sand, or bark.

Are your materials archival and lightfast?

I use professional-grade paints, mediums, adhesives, and surfaces selected for durability and longevity. Whenever possible, I choose lightfast pigments and archival materials. Finished paintings receive an appropriate protective finish based on the materials used.

How should I care for my painting?

Keep artwork in a dry, stable environment and away from prolonged direct sunlight. To clean a painting, gently remove surface dust with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays, and household cleaning products.

Can I visit your studio?

Yes. I have studios in Sausalito, California, and on Mount Desert Island, Maine, adjacent to Acadia National Park. Studio visits are welcome by appointment. Contact me to schedule a studio visit.

Do you ship your work?

Yes. Artwork can be shipped throughout the United States via UPS or FedEx. Shipping costs are based on the size of the artwork and its destination, and each piece is carefully packed for safe transport. International shipping may also be available by arrangement. View my Shipping Policy.

Do you make larger work? Where can I see it?

Yes. I regularly create larger paintings. You can view available work on this website, by appointment at my studios, and through galleries that represent or exhibit my work:

Do you offer workshops or classes?

Yes. I offer mixed-media, collage, landscape, plein air, and other art workshops for individuals and groups. Upcoming opportunities are announced on my Workshops page, through my studio newsletter, and on Instagram.

Private workshops can also be arranged by request.

Can I pick up a painting instead of having it shipped?

Yes. Local pickup from my studio can be arranged and is a good way to avoid shipping costs. Contact me before purchasing so we can coordinate the details.

Is every painting one-of-a-kind?

Yes. Each original painting is unique. My layered process often incorporates hand-painted papers, individual marks, textures, and found or repurposed materials that cannot be exactly reproduced.

Do you offer limited-edition prints?

Occasionally. I work with a professional archival print studio to produce limited-edition prints of select original paintings, including some works that have sold. Contact me to ask about current availability.

Do you offer framing?

Framing is not included unless specifically noted, but I work with a trusted custom framer who creates floater frames designed for my paintings. Some works on paper are archivally mounted to cradled wood panels and can be displayed unframed for a clean, contemporary presentation. Framing under glass/rigid acrylic is also an option.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

I want you to be completely satisfied with your artwork. Please review my Return and Refund Policy before purchasing directly from my studio.

Artwork purchased through a gallery is subject to that gallery’s individual return and exchange policy.
