Earth, Stone & Forest

Fractured stone, sediment, and the vertical rhythms of trees provide the structure for these abstract landscapes. Layering and scraping let forms accumulate, break apart, and reappear, echoing the slow changes of weathering and growth. Collage and painted surfaces hold the tension between solid terrain and the traces of time moving through it.
