Artist Statement

My work explores the connections between nature and humanity, portraying the symbiotic relationships that sustain our planet. Through mixed media, I depict environmental resilience and sustainability, drawing inspiration from endangered regions to craft art that invites reflection and fosters connection. Growing up between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the eastern seaboard, I observed the changing landscape and recorded it through my artwork; my recent relocation to Mt. Desert Island, ME and the California coast offers me the opportunity to broaden my environmental connection and deepen my artistic practice.
